PIC STORY Roadside hotels, Public Health Hygiene

Those using Public Transport for traveling on inter district or inter provincial (long distances) routes usually encounter with such hotels, restaurants (eating places) where not only the food items price double but also their quality compromise due to poor hygiene conditions.

The public health department, food department & district administration is responsible to check such irregularities.

On highways eating places must check (examine) periodically and licenses with price tables must put on display.

Pic Story: Encroachment on Drainage

The Shahi Khatta (Grand Drainage System) of #Peshawar is running on its low capacity due to encroachments (Shops) build on it. The drainage system is over 100 years old designed by #Sikh rulers.
Recently, the "Muncipal Corporation" of Peshawar kicked off "Anti Encroachment Drive" but such permanent structures still untouched. At this stage, need two steps. First remove all the encroachments on "Drainage System" and 2nd is expansion so the system capacity increased.
Peshawar is oldest living city of South East Asia. The urbanization impact (pressure) is quite visible on civic facilities.

Mar2015: PIC STORY: Too Hard for too young

HELPING HAND: A child spotted in one of auto workshop on Stadium Road, Murree Road, Abbottabad, Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan.

By law such young kids not allowed to work in such heavy and polluted environment.

Feb2015: Pic Story: The Poverty

SO SORRY BOY: Someone trash is other treasure! Child is garbage scavenger for living. The provincial govt of #PTI promised to send every child to school but many (20%) are out of schools. Primary education should be least priority for such kids earned less than a US Dollar (Rs: 100) for such filthiest job. (ALL PICTURES TAKEN IN GULBAHAR, Peshawar City, ON FEBRUARY 22, 2015).
